After first opening in the early 1970s, our fishing park has maintained its original charm right through to the present day. Located on the outskirts of Stolberg-Gressenich and surrounded by woods and meadows, these three large ponds are the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing fishing experience in an idyllic setting. <\/p>\n
Our three ponds measure between 1,500 and 4,000 square metres and have a maximum depth of two metres. We regularly stock Pond 1 with salmon trout and Pond 3 with single-portion rainbow trout. We also strive to make the stock in our ponds diverse and attractive by adding other species of fish. Depending on availability, you can also catch golden trout, brook trout, brown trout and other salmonids. What\u2019s more, our ponds additionally contain a basic stock of catfish, carp and other species. In warm temperatures, we introduce more Russian and Siberian sturgeon to our ponds too. <\/p>\n
Anglers who would like to have a pond to themselves or tailor their fishing experience to suit their individual needs can hire Pond 2 on all opening days as well as Pond 3 on Saturdays.<\/p>\n
Our modern kiosk, which was built in 2016, provides our guests with snacks, drinks and an attractive selection of bait. The building is flooded with natural light and its summer terrace are the perfect place to take a break and enjoy a chat about your fishing experience. <\/p>\n
